Let me share with you what the masters shared with me!

My approach to teaching has created successful results with every student I've worked with. I teach all styles, all age groups, and I make it FUN.

Legendary Freddie Gruber has developed distinct drumming methods that he has passed on to Master drummers like Dave Weckl, Neil Pert, and Steve Smith. These methods were personally passed on to me from Dave Weckl at his home in Los Angeles, and I want to share them with you!

I focus on hand technique, rudiments, and reading & writing music for the first half of our lessons, and the remainder of the lesson is focused on applying these patterns to the full drum set.

I have a selection of books that I teach out of, and also provide my students with a notebook so that I can write out helpful exercises and anything else that occurs during lesson time ... this way the student can referr back to all the content of each lesson.

I am certain that you will see drastic improvement from your current ability, and if you're a beginner, you will be starting with the proper tools necessary to excell as a quality drummer.

I teach from my practice room in South Denver, and am also willing to come to you! I am easy to be around, affordable, I have numerous references, and I still have some availability.
